Guest guest
I am planning to have upper and genio done in November. I am a little worried about the posts I'm reading about the nose changing. I have wanted this surgery done for 15 years and now that I'm getting closer, I'm becoming more and more skeptical. I am not horrified at the way I look now, but there is always room for improvement. I definately need a chin and my smile is very gummy and I grind my teeth at night and I have headaches and my jaw muscles hurt from clinching my jaw, so I think I definately need the surgery, but my husband does not think I need the surgery and he of course is also worried about how different I will look. Recovery of course is another topic. I have been reading on this site for about a month and noticed a majority of the people have lower jaw surgery in conjunction with upper or genio or both. I was wondering if upper jaw surgery is a quicker recovery than lower jaw or about the same. I am planning on taking about 2 1/2 weeks off of work, should that be enough time off? Does anyone have any pictures of their upperjaw surgery with genio that I could look at? Thanks in advance for any help you could give me.
