Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have been in braces for about a year and a half. When I first saw the orthodontist he told me I would need surgery so I knew this was coming but now that I have a date set I am starting to get scared. I go on the table on December 22nd for upper jaw proceedure. They are going to move the upper jaw forward. I have never had any surgery as big as this so I am getting very nervous. Four years ago I had surgery for sleep apnea (tonsils, adnoids, soft palate reshaping, uvula removed, deviated septum repaired) and that was really hard on me. That proceedure left me unable to eat solid foods for about two weeks. I thought that was miserable so I am very concerned about a proceedure that is more involved. If anyone has recipes that they can send me please do at the e-mail address below. Also can you take pills post-op? I would hate to go through this process without my anti- depressants. Thanks, scottfly27atgmaildotcom
