day 2-3 home from the hosp...

My second day home was really uneventful..I woke early and the focus of the

day was fluid…how all consuming this was to me….I felt wonderful…and

felt like

I could take on the world…but then It came time to take a shower..which

seemed to not only wash away any dirt from the day before, but all the energy

I

thought I had..lolol

Dawn,

Have you ever thought of writing a book? I LOVE your humor.

I'm a Texas girl and I can only imagine the accent you have while telling your

stories.

I just love the east coast and all of the different accents.

I spent most of the morning trying to get in my protein after my meds,

watching tv. Crocheting and around 12:30 my best buddy stopped by to see how

my day

was going, she really is a wonderful friend…you know bending over is a real

no no…there was a rock on the kitchen floor that one of the dogs had drug in

and when I reached over to pick it up…immediately decided that the kitchen

floor

was some how enhanced with that wonderful rock laying there and would wait

until my husband got home to discuss a rock garden theme…in the middle of

the

kitchen…..

You know Chicken Boullion RULES!!..this seems to be the best thing in the

world as far as taste and easiness to get down…who would have thought….

My oldest daughter arrived home around 2:30pm and proceeded to put dishes

away, and decided that there was no immediate need for a rock garden in the

kitchen..to which I had really grown accustom to over the course of the

day…so it

looked like my husband would be spared the debate…lolol

Around 3pm it was time for a nap..this was not open for discussion,,as my

body was taking one and I was merely along for the ride… I awoke with a

tongue

that seemed to have grown an extra layer of yuK!! Kinda like the atkins diet

thing that happens …and im sure my breath is probably the worst…so up to

get

started on my next protein drink and to scrape that new layer of YUK that took

over my tongue during my nap…hmmmmm wondering if this will be this way all

the

time…(one of those things no one told you about!)

Thinking about dropping in at work tomorrow. I am a Operations Manager for 3

Coldwell Banker offices here on the Cape.. and there is an advisory board

meeting tomorrow at 12:30 at a resturaunt that lasts about an hour and ½.. so

when

my husband arrived home. I informed him that I thought I would drop in at the

board meeting tomorrow…He laughed at me… …he said…â€you need to stay

home

and not push yourself…there is no reason that you should be in a car

driving..when just 2 days ago you were uncomfortable driving home from the

hospital and

your work will survive without you for at least a week!!!!â€

I guess you have figured out by now..I suffer from “SUPERWOMAN COMPLEXâ€

which, I have come to find out is not so rare…It seems to run in most

women,…we

spend our every waking moment thinking about and doing for someone else.. and

spend little time on ourselves…so with a smack of reality from my loving

husband..i have decided that the time for me is now…so I will stay home and

spend

time on. me...hmmmmm SPEND TIME ON ME..what a novel idea..not to have to

think

about being anyone’s wife, mother, daughter…Just focusing on ME I think

I

like the idea…grin

I got in 38 gr of protein today , 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 popsicle..and

10oz of water with all my meds…I feel GREAT…
