Guest guest
Dear friends, here is a update on dutch Anne. Her present condition is that her bowels are extended to over 3 " in width, but no infection or blockage. It seems that there is some movement, but not the movement to push the feces forward. Further she has a pneumonia and an ear and throath infection. Also UTI. Although the liver seems to be ok, she is turning yellow. Fluid and some medication by IV in her wrists and arms, while her central line was infected. No feeding at the moment. Less medication is given because of possible liver risk. Hardly any paintreatment because of the same liver risk. It is a long list and we simply do not know what to do next. Is there any advice you could share with us? Regards, Timo

Guest guest
Timo, Sorry, but the only advice I can give at this time is " hang in there " . Many of us have been through this part of caregiving and know the anguish you are going through at this time. It sounds to me as if it is the same type of thing that Aussie Anne went through about a year ago when she got the stomach pacemaker implanted, but she had NO movement in the stomach. Hope everything works out for the best. Take care, Bill Werre =================================== Timo & Anne wrote: >Dear friends, > >here is a update on dutch Anne. > >Her present condition is that her bowels are extended to over 3 " in width, but no infection or blockage.
