Yes, there's very slow but definite improvement. If I poke it with

something sharp I can now feel the poke, and in a couple spots I can

feel it if I use a brushing motion. Once in a while I think I get a

sensation of taste (just a random sour-candy kind of tingle), so I'm

encouraged. There's apparently no deadline for nerve improvement so

I expect it'll continue to improve for the next 10 years, but I'm

doubtful I'll ever get back to completely normal.
