old, old, old timers, ancient-timers, in fact

Hi all,

(Man, is this new font small or have I aged that much since I was

last on?)

It's been awhile. I wanted to check in with all of you, old and new,

and let you know what an incredible community you have forged here,

on this board. I have had the distinct un-pleasure of having to join

a different support board, for a different medical reason. I had no

idea how spoiled I was, after having been a member of this board for

so long. I took for granted the comraderie, kindness and generosity

of the people here. On my 'new' board, the people allow no room for

emotionality or expression of any feelings, whatsoever. It's " just

the facts, ma'am " . Newcomers are not welcomed or valued. These

people are so sensitized to language that they wrangle over every

word written. Most sadly of all, there is no Cammie, and no .

I miss you all! I hope that the old-timers continue to do well and

that the newcomers are all supported and informed in the same

wonderful way that I was, once.

Take care of yourself, and your board. It is a truly special place.
