I live near the Orange County line and take my husband to a Neurologist in Brea , who DX my husband in 98 with MSA.His name is Dr. J. Florin at . There is also Barbara who lives in Orange County , I can find out who treated her husband. We have a support group and the dates and times were posted the other day. Would love to see you at some. Now on the other question you asked. When my husband was in the hospital last year the hospital sent out Darnell Home Health Services to our house to help. I'm not sure what the cost was , as we have insurance that took care of it, but this is there 1 (800) # maybe they can send you to where their could help with the need's that your looking for. Darnell Home Health Services 1- TakeCare Vera ****************************** My father has been diagnosed with Shy-Drager and my family is devastated by the the severe symptoms he is experiencing. We are getting him out of Michigan where he has no support out to Orange County, California so he can be near his children. My step-mother has been his only caretaker up until now and I know she desparately needs a break. I am trying to accomplish two things: 1. Does anyone know a physician in the Orange County area who is familiar with this disease? 2. Does anyone know of any low cost or free in-home assistance that we can utilize? I want to keep my father at home as long as possible but he cannot be left alone. Any information that anyone can forward would be greatly appreciated.
