Guest guest
Does anyone know if Plexion contains steroids? Because Desowen does: Found this article at DermaDoctor.com - Please read. 3 percent precipitated sulfur in desowen cream is an " old fashioned " concoction that I fall back on when I find a rosacea patient that is difficult to clear. This formulation includes a mild potency topical prescription strength steroid that helps alleviate much of the redness and inflammation. I try not to have the patients use this too long due to long term risks of thinning the skin and developing more blood vessels.

Guest guest
My face is red and had hundreds of tiny little bumps all over (papules). I have tried metrocream, plexion, antibiotics...and nothing helped. My appearance did not change. Now that I am using the disks I believe (and my husband has commented) that I have less bumps and the redness has lighted somewhat. The drawbacks are you end up with this light sandpaper feeling on your face. 30 minutes after I apply the disk, I spray my face lightly with water and brush the gritty stuff off. If I do not use water it kind of hurts to brush it off. Also, you are not suppose to apply makeup, sunscreen, etc for atleast 30 minutes after you use the disks. So you have to have a lot of time on your hands in the am, which I do not. Can never seem to get up early enough. Hope this helps, Jennette Re: Plexion > You say that it took 5 days to clear up. Did you discontinue the use? > What did you use to clear it up? I'm ask Yahoo! Autos - Get free new car price quotes
