Not a whole lot new to report. I'm 4 weeks post-op tomorrow, and I

got the go ahead to chew soft foods from my OS today. He basically

said use my best judgement and don't eat things like carrots and other

crunchy or chewy things, and if whatever I'm chewing hurts, then stop.

Chewing is an adventure, that's for sure. My front 4 teeth, and the

very last molars on the left are the only teeth that are actually

touching, so I'm still very limited as to what I'm actually *able* to

chew.

I did pretty good with pasta (not cut up into teeny pieces!) and

french fries though, but by the time I was done with dinner my jaw was

worn out. I'll have to get used to using those muscles again. I

don't see myself attempting to chew much more than what I've been

already chopping/mashing until I have a few more teeth connecting, though.
