i just cant even believe this! vent

i cant even believe this! i just called the dr office and talke to them and they

are now telling me that i have to wait almost a year not 6 months like they said

before. i have medicaid. they seem to be having all kinds of trouble or

something but i feel like i am being put off. so i called another dr office in

cinncinati and they said if went there it wouldnt be near as long. i already

have the approval and she said we just have to gather all the info they need

have a consult with the dr and then schedule my surgery. she seems to think as

long as all goes well i could be in their office in about 3 weeks and sugery

about 4-6 weeks after that. so i called the dr that i am seeing now and told

their records lady what was going on and she is gonna have my chart ready to go

for me on wed. so i will go get that and will be on the road to more running and

paperwork. i dont care! i have come to the idea that this is the 4th dr that i

have had to deal with. if i have to wait forever for him

too then i am going to give this up and hope that i just get lucky and deal

with all my medical problems. i cant go on yet another roller coaster. i just

cant. i know that having state insurance isnt the best but you know i could get

a job and get real insurance if i could get this surgery. i am so sick all the

time and cant chase the daycare kids like i used to.....this would make all the

difference in the world for me. my husband is supportive but really doesnt want

me to have it done. he is really worried about what could happen. i reminded him

what could happen if i dont. as it is we will be driving about an hour away for

the new dr at the university of cinncinati. i think it is worth the drive. i

just have to figure out what to do with the kids. please pray and keep your

fingers crossed that this will work out for me!!!
