post ope 7 days. Should I try to speak?

Hi everyone,

My teeth was shut down for 7 days and finally today, my surgeon

change it to elastic bands. So,I can opem my mouth a little bit. He

told me to practice to open my mouth. Does it mean I also had

better try to talk, too? or it's too early as post ope 7 days? How

you guys did after your surgery? I got my lower jaw moved forward.
