I'm sorry about the guilty feeling. It's not productive of anything

good.

But DO WHAT YOUR SURGEON TOLD YOU!!! Messing about with the stitches

is definitely not a good idea. What is a good idea is to leave them

alone, no matter how annoying. If they're really bugging you, call

your surgeon and let him/her do whatever needs doing.

And bear in mind that there can be different types of stitches. So

if someone else's surgeon said to smear them three times a day with

a paste made of eye of newt and toe of frog, that may be just the

ticket FOR THAT PATIENT. But not necessarily anything but poison for

YOURS.

Cammie, I remember yu menetioned something that helped the scarring

go aways smoothly in your case but I forgot what it was. DO you

recall?
