Well...your doctor is the one who can tell you what it is. My guess

is that is a chrge for the splint that was used after surgery to

hold your teeth in place, it would have been made in advance---do

you remeber them taking molds of your teeth--they use those trays

and that nasty goop? Thats what that was for. Or it could have been

something that helped in planning the surgery--anyway I am sure your

docotors office can tell you exactly what it was.

The surgical splint is a thin hard plastic mouth piece looking device

that is put between your teeth during surgery to maintain your bite

while the plates and screws are installed. I went in a week before

surgery to make sure it fit right but never saw an itemized bill for

it. eric
