I hope that I am not posting too many questions today and making amyone upset.

But I was just reading dr. nase's advise about moisturizers. He says not to use

an oil-based occulsive cream. he specifically targets mineral oil yet he seems

to like oils like jojoba and emu. are these 2 oils non-occlusive.

What about dimethicone and clymethicone? I know that that they are not oils but

silicones but wouldn't they be occlusive.

So I am not sure if he is saying that the mineral oil is the bad or anything

that is occlusive.

But how can the skins barrier function be restored by using a light moisturizer

that does not seal in the skin's water and block out the irritants.

Confused here.

can anyone explain

Thanks
