Guest guest
DO NOT DO THE SURGERY! IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR MIND!!!! I did my surgery for cosmetic reason... here is something you need to consider: 1. your face will be longer.. your jaw is going to be moved forward...it will make your face look longer 2. your face will look thinner 3. there is a risk of permanent numbness 4. your face may become asymmetrical (that's what happened to me after surgery) although i'm an engineer, the most important thing i learned in university is the law of diminishing returns: at some point, regardless of the effort you put into it, you'll not get the proportional results... the surgeon told me that i'll have a stronger chin and i can easily tell my final look by moving my jaw forward in front of the mirror.. that is NOT true! it's total UNKNOWN…cosmetically, you have no idea what you'll look like! i'm living proof of this and i wish i NEVER had this silly surgery for a 5mm overjet... most of the people that are happy with their results have extreme situations… I would not put you in the extreme category… it's simply not worth the risk! good luck with the surgery and let us know the final results... > > > > > Well I thought I'd give this a try and see if > > I > > > > could get any > > > > advice > > > > > or assistance from anyone who has been down > > the > > > > road I'm about to > > > > > travel.
