Joanie, just read your post. My mother died of aplastic anemia in

1988...10 months after diagnosis. She did have chemo, and a

wonderful doc at the Univ of MN, who told us it was his second case

in 20 years...very rare. She felt really good and did alot of

things in the last few months. Fatigue and a little numbing in the

extremeties, but otherwise in good spirits and good control of

herself. Not intending to be the bearer of bad tidings, but DO all

of those things you have planned while you can. Corrine
