Guest guest
Hi everyone... I am a 22 year old student in Arizona. I have been considering the surgery because my lower teeth aren't straight, and I have a smaller lower jaw. Of course the cost is a major factor, and I was told it would be about 8 grand for the surgery. Of course, being mildly self conscious, I am wondering if having the braces for a year, and the cost of the surgery, if it is really worth it. It looks like my health care will be with Pacificare, and my dental through Cigna. Does anyone know if either company will cover the surgery? Thanks for the help in advance. Guest guest
Hi I had Cigna PPO when I had my uppr jaw surgery & it was covered (they paid for very little though, but it was indeed covered). By the way, where in Arizona are you? I am going to Canyon Ranch in Tucson in a 10 days. I can't wait. By the way, braces are really no big deal. I happen to be getting mine off today finally, after 18 months! Regards, > > Hi everyone... > > I am a 22 year old student in Arizona. Guest guest
Well, that is good news, maybe they would cover some of my bottom jaw....Just out of curiousity, what percentage of it did they cover? I am in North Phoenix, going to get my own place pretty soon. My major problem with braces is that I had them already for 3 years, plus it probably wouldn't help much with the ladies... :-) The other major factor is the cost, and I need to figure out if the insurance company would be able to take care of any of it before I could make a decision. Thanks for your response. Chris > > > > Hi everyone... > > > > I am a 22 year old student in Arizona.
