Well, maybe you can return the offer sometime and see how your

husband feels about it : ) Seriously, hopefully he never has to

undergo what you've been through. It definitely does help to have a

sense of humour about it all.

Actually, my husband has had this surgery! Quite the coincedence.

His was about 10 years ago and he has his lower jaw moved back (mine

was forward). He doesn't remember much from it, but it has been

helpful in my not having to explain to him the necessity, benefits,

risks, etc. He has been great through all this. We have a running

joke that maybe are kids will have normal jaws (even though we know

it doesn't work that way). Thanks!
