Guest guest
Hi buddy ... glad to see through your posts that you are doing so well. Little envious of the Mcs ... I'm not quite there yet. Surgery went well ... had a bit of a difficult time in the hospital overnight ... evidently they don't see very many oral surgery patients so it was a new expierience for me and the nurses. I wasn't able to have anyone stay overnight with me due to the hospital being full and I didn't have a private room. So I probably did a bit more talking than I really should have to start off with. My main issue has been sleeping but slowly but surely as I get more rest and am gaining leeps and strides in recovery. I am lightly banded and I am splinted as well. Not sure when it will come out ... but would rather have a little discomfort and have it all turn out well. Have been back to see my surgeon twice already ... go back again on Wednesday and as the breathing in my nose starts to clear up more and more sleeping is easier as well. My surgeon is really pleased with the results. I am able to get up and about and do quite a lot for myself which gives me more confidence that pretty soon I will not be so worried to be left alone during the day when hubby has to go back to work. I'm not doing much but TV and movie watching and am on the internet a bit. My concentration level is still a bit low. But that to will improve with time. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and hearing about your positive steps so far has really helped me to know that I am right there with you as the days pass. Take care and glad to hear you are so well ...
