Guest guest
Hey Vicki! Such a wonderful dilemma to be in. I know-ain't it great!! I found out that once my waistline became visible (and not too bad I might add!) MY style became belted. Shorter shirts tucked into real zip fly jeans-and I take great pride in " strutting my stuff " . Now, don't get me wrong-I am not egotistical or anything-just so glad to be getting down in sizes again. When my original WLS began to fail me-and the pounds kept creeping on, I hated the feeling of getting larger and upsizing my wardrobe. I am sooo grateful that some of my favorite " skinny " clothes didn't sell in my garage sale. I unearthed stored clothes D in Anchorage, AK Distal RNY, open, 10/7/93, Dr's Oh & Fox in Tacoma, WA from 301 to 149 Revision of stomach-Fobi Pouch 8/9/02, Dr. Marema in Ft. Lauderdale, FL from 258 to 189 and counting! Highest weight ever: 350+hem from our basement-and now they are my inspiration. I have a tangible goal, and so far, so good. I shop second hand-and it saves me a bundle. It is hard to feel guilty for buying like-new jeans for $7.95 and a cute shirt in a medium. Then, I have to hang them in my closet where I can do frequent checks-otherwise I shrink right past those sizes. I JUST WISH ALL CLOTHING MANUFACTURERES USED THE SAME SIZING SYSTEM. Highest weight ever: 350+ Re: Individual replies Also bear in mind that many people read directly from the site. This site is set up so that when you hit reply it goes directly to ones individual e-mail address.
