Tom & Jen,

Thanks for the the info. I have been using gly-oxide around my

stiches a few times a day, so they really should be clean. I

realized a few things after I posted. One is that I was really not

on any pain meds when I started feeling it. This was probably the

first time since my op that I was really on nothing. I took regular

tylenol around 6, so by 10 or 11 it would have been worn off. So

with that in mind, the pain was really minimal. It is definately

more of a tugging or pulling than anything else, and that seems to

be pretty normal. The other thing I realized, when I look at it

where I feel it, it is where a little knot was tied. I assume this

has something to do with my feeling it here. I don't have or have

not gotten any more swollen around this area, so I am going to

assume that everything is okay and I'm just being paranoid unless

things start to get worse. I'm a little paranoid b/c my OS told me

that he has only ever had to remove the plates/screws a few times

and it was b/c there was an infection. I really don't think I want

to have to go through removing anything (especially not right now),

so I'm overly cautious about that. I think I'll be fine. I'll call

my OS if it gets any worse or starts to swell!
