I was one of the really fortunate ones, in that I did not have any

nerve damage.

This is not an unusual question, though, about kissing. I do believe

that for most people, the sensation comes back. For a few, there is

lasting trouble.

Again, that doesn't help if you're one of the few. Why not tell your

surgeon that you're worried about it and ask for reassurance?

Hi,

You are right on with the kiss......ahhh.....so many sonnets, so many

poems.....so much life given and lost for " the kiss " .

The kiss is what you make it, nerves, sensations or no....more is

involved than mere synapse. I have a almost totally numb lower lip

and chin nere 4 years out....but....the kiss......tho different....is

still sublime.

Much of it is in what you make of what you have....like all of life.

The kiss........sublime....like love...no matter how challanged.
