Guest guest
Hi, Sorry I haven't been on line for awhile. But now I have a problem and I am not sure what this is, I am wondering if anyone has had anything like this after arm surgery. Near the elbow, where the incision starts I have a big red, hard thing like a ball and it is hot, it showed up on saturday, but I didn't call the doctor, but then yesterday it was not better, maybe a little worse, so I called him about 7 last night. He said put hot compress on it and go to see him today but with the storm we got, I was snowed in, couldn't even open my front door. I am in Bayside, the doctor is in Great Neck, he said it sounds like an infection, but he doesn't see after all this time why it would start now. I had my surgery DEC 30, but I am still not back to normal. this is the arm (the left) which he removed the lymph nodes under the arm. He said they didn't look good, but this arm is swollen and I cannot lift it very well. I go to his office for some lympo massage once a week, I do not know if they help or not. Did anyone ever have anything like this, hard and like a ball, red and hot? If I have to tomorrow I will try to even get a taxi if he is in his office. Can someone tell me if this has happened to them, please write to me at RoCommisso1@aol because I read my private emails more and faster than all of the groups. Thank you, Rosemary Commisso
