Hello,

This is my first post since I joined, next Monday I meet with the OS

to discuss my surgery since the initial visit. I was wondering if anyone has

some questions to ask that either helped them or that they wish they had asked

prior to

their big day? I am having lower only (I think based on my ortho's comments)! I

am

traveling for work and my medical files are at home so I don't have the exact

terminology

on hand. Also, my ortho's assistant gave me her overview of the procedure and

mentioned

using screws and metal plates to hold everything in place, I have heard about

other people

with implants (knee specifically) that had rejection issues and had to have

their hardware

removed. Does anyone have any experience with hardware issues?

Thanks in advance,
