Costs of surgery

I had upper/lower/chin done on Sept 10th. I just received a partial

list from our insurance company and the total for the operation,

including a 3 night stay at Stanford Medical University Hospital,

Palo Alto, was $85,169.93 and that does not include the fees for the

surgeon which is over $26,525...Thank goodness for insurance. We

have about $1500 to pay for my hospital stay because I had a private

room and some of the surgeon's bill because my chin wasn't covered

by insurance ($700) and ortho $8000. What an expensive journey this

has been, not just the money but the time taken away from my family

ife. I hope I can say when it's all over that it has been worth it,

I'm not there yet at 5.5 weeks post-op.
