Guest guest
I didn't. I do not care about the numbers. I rarely weigh myself, only if I have to at the dr's office. I had WLS to be healthy and LIVE and I am doing that. My husband, Charlie, had his WLS on Monday. He should be coming home today, and is doing very well. He feels the same way I did...the numbers are not important. LIVING is. Just for the heck of it, I stepped on the scale in the hospital this week. The lowest wt. I have hit since my Sept. 1999 surgery is 208. I am now about 225. I think that a small gain like that in over 3 years is pretty good, seeing as most people gain some back. Remember, I started at 530, so I feel like Twiggy now...lol. Would I like to lose more? Sure! I would love to see 199 before I die. And I still might, especially with my hubby in the gung ho stage. We won't have any reason to have high carb snacky foods around now, and with me out of sight is out of MOUTH. We will share a protein shake and walk together as Spring and Summer rolls through. My goal was to live. And I am now doing that. So, I think I have reached my " goal " .
