Guest guest
A while back when I took cimetidine for a few days, and it worked amazingly at preventing flushing. But then after the doses wore off, I had weird skin problems all over my face and body. (at first, thought it might be seb derm worsening, later realized it wasnt that). A day after being off the cimetidine, I had an appt with my doc, I had a pretty intense reaction when he tested me for Dermatographism. And he said based on what he saw, he thought I also had some sort of underlying mast cell disorder (which I've already mentioned/discussed in a few earlier posts). Does the fact that a day after stopping the Cimetidine I had very weird skin rashes everywhere and much more intense reactions than I normally do indicate that its very likely that my problem has been a mast cell disorder all along? Or is it perfectly normal for a healthy individual who had recently stopped taking Cimetidine after taking it in the morning for 3-4 days to have weird histamine responses until the body is no longer used to having the drug in its system or something?
