Guest guest
Im investigateing about doing laser here in Sweden, so I have emailed some laser docs and asked a few questions. This one only treat rosacea with versapulse YAG laser. I read about him in a paper where he had treated a rosacea patient. #Me: I have not cronic redness, but a few visible blood vessels on my nose, rosacea acne and suffering of really sensitive skin and during the day my nose starts pulsating. Can Yag laser treat this ? #Laser Doc: The nose pulsating is because inflammation in the sebaceous gland and that can laser not cure. #My questions to the group: Is this really true ??? I thought the pulsating feeling was blood vessels which dilates during the day? #Me: If Yag:n doesn't manage deeper blood vessels, what laser do u use for treating the deeper blood vessels in the face? #Laser Doc: Yag treat deeper vessels, it has the wavelenght of 1064nm, Versapulse:n is based on a Yag but have the wavelength 532nm. At that wavelength u can not penetrate that deep but u have much better absorbation in blood. #My question to the group: What does he mean with better absorbation in blood? #Me: Cause the deeper blood vessels feed the rosacea, I also want to treat them. #Laser Doc: The vessels are a result of cronic inlfammation or high sebaceous gland activity and not the other way around. You can not treat the deeper blood vessels that is not visible for the eye. Also that can be vessels you might need and you can't treat random. #My questions to the group: Is that correct with the deeper blood vessels, that u can't treat the one that is not visible for the eye? I thought that was the thing Dr Nase did? tnx in advance //Kajsa. _____________________________________________________ Gratis e-mail resten av livet på www.yahoo.se/mail Busenkelt!
