Guest guest
I am also a member of another board for surgery people over 50 years year old and this is my post: Most (graduates) are struggling against weight gain (like most normal people). We gain a few pounds and fear gaining more. We are as a group going on 3 three day protein drink fast. Or any variation thereof. The point is to give each other support to stay away from carbs for as long as we can for up to 3 days believing that this might get us back on track. Of course, yesterday since I woke up motivated I started early. This was to begin tonight at midnight. Well, anyway to distract myself, I went clothes shopping. I had intended to only try on clothes. I wound up buying a $240 suite for 45 dollars. It is my reward (instead of a food reward). However it is a bit tight. My plan is when I crave carbs I will put it on until the cravings past. This will be my measurement. Not the scale. As long as it fits I am okay. If it gets tight again, I'll know it is protein/fast time. I hope I can keep to my plan.
