Guest guest
I've had five photoderm treatments over the past year. After the 1st one I was vastly improved...redness reduced by at least 50%. I improved after the next two but sufferred a setback after the 4th. I had a fifth recently and am still going downhill. Can photoderm ever do damage???? Should I continue treatments???? I will ask my derm but frankly I trust this group more. Please let me hear from you if you've sufferred a setback after several treatments!!!! BTW, I have found an affordable and very good derm in The Woodlands near Houston. Dr. Carol Drucker. She only charges $250 per treatmnet and she is up to speed on this disease. She asked a lot of questions, closely examined my face, and spent a great deal of time w/ me. My husband & I were very impressed. On the other hand I must caution you against Dr. Suzanne Bruce in Houston. She administered the first 4 treatments I had. Although her facility is luxurious she never even examined my face. I chose her becase her staff said they file on insurance. Turns out they haven't a clue about what to provide the insurance co. and aren't interested in learning. Although my carrier does cover photoderm for rosacea I never got all my claims settled because Dr. Bruce's staff would never send sufficient info. They refused to send it to me also. Plus she charged double what I'm paying now. Dawn oldstuff@... you can contact me off list if you'd like.
