Guest guest
I have been following your post on the medications and side affects with great interest. Jerry was the baby of 10 children. There were two sets of boy/girl twins in the family. Billy and Betty were both treated for schizaphrenia. I knew his sister was but recently looked at some of Bill's military papers and he was medically discharged because he was schizaphrenia. I always knew he had problems but that is the first anyone knew for sure. No one had even know for sure. He only told that he had a nervous breakdown in French Morroco Africa. His parents were the type who never really talked about things and the rest ignored things and refused to deal with " bad " things. So I have found this really interesting. Jerry had MSA and one of the 3 things he had was PD, just the opposite of Billy and Betty.'s problems according to these articles. Billy and Jerry also had Hemochromatosis (Iron Overload). Bill had allready developed cirrhosis of the liver from iron overload so nothing was ever done about it, but they did give hiim meds for schizaphrenia the last two years of his life. He had nearly bled to death from the cirrhosis and iron overload and spent time in the VA hospital. He went from there to a nursing home. Betty is still living and has been in a nursing home three years, she was always at loose ends and you never knew where she was coming from next. This is really amazing to me. I feel like I might should write the researcher and let him know about this bit of family history. What do you think.
