-- chronic urinary tract infections

Dawn Morley

Sister, Celeste, DX with MSA in March 2000

Dawn, my husband was finally put on a maintenance dose of Macrobid for his

repeated urinary tract infections, and it greatly reduced the problem. He

had almost none after that.

Dawn,

We always suggest lots of liquids (at least 64 oz) and especially some

cranberry juice (maybe 8-16 oz) each day. It will not stop them, but

helps. The cranberry juice has an acid in it that helps kill nasty

bacteria. The added liquids flush the kidneys and bladder and wash out

nasty bugs.

Take care, Bill Werre
