Chronic UTI's

Hi Dawn,

Has self catheterization ever been mentioned as a possible treatment for

your sister? I know that with MSA patients, there is sometimes difficulty

completely emptying the bladder, which leads to the chronic UTI's. I know

self cathing sounds gross, but I believe it has helped a number of people

on the website prevent this chronic problem.

Regards,

M.

Subject: chronic urinary tract infections

I know we have been through this before, but I need some reminders.

My sister is plaqued by chronic urinary tract infections. She gets

off a round of antibiotics and the infections start immediately. I

know I have heard drug suggestions on this site and other things as

well. Could you all please remind me.

Thanks,

Dawn Morley
