Guest guest
Janet, My husband received some services through the VA system. I am told that sometimes the services are different from state to state. There will be a VA service representative (may not be the exact title) in your county. Find out who that is. Talk to them. Ask the VA/American Legion/VFW to tell you who that person is. We found that they could be very helpful, but could also drag their feet until you had to get the service through some other agency, because they took so long and we needed help now. My best advice is to just keep asking and don't get your feelings hurt. Just keep digging for the services that should be provided.
