Guest guest
Thanks Marilyn Now I can rest a bit easier. Glad all are safe. Get some rest. It may look pretty awful in the day light. Guest guest
Some of those storms went right through our county (Coffee County in TN). My son (Tim) lives in the northern portion of the county while our home is in the southern portion. Sometimes we get the bad weather sometimes they do. This time it was them. They got lots of rain, wind, and hail. A tornado hit not far from their home. Took some buildings and homes, but not our son's home. Many trees are down so they are without power and phones. He was able to get a power generator going so they now have some power, but still no phone except for the cell phone. Tim thinks that his school system will not be able to have school, because so many roads are blocked with trees and power lines. At least two people have died tonight in our county with maybe 25-50 other people injured. Our area of the county got very little rain, but did get some of the wind. Our youngest son lives in neighboring Bedford County. They got heavy rain, wind, lots of lightning and large hail, but to our knowledge no tornados. Some folks in the middle TN area have gotten hail that was at lease 3 " in diameter. Coffee and Bedford Counties are one county north of the Tennessee/Alabama line Best wishes to all of you.
