In answer to your question, I had a great trip to France. My

sister-in-law who lives in Brittany, met me at the airport, and we spent six

nights in Paris at a great little hotel just a half a block from the Seine.

We walked and walked and then we rode the Batobus to even more places. I am

still trying to sort out all the places we went and the sights we saw. Then

we took the train to Rennes where she lives. Rennes is the capital of

Brittany. From there we wandered all over Brittany seeing little Medieval

towns and much countryside. We spent one night in a wonderful hotel at the

tip of where Brittany changes from channel to Atlantic seacoast and two

nights with my sister-in-law's brother in a little village on the Atlantic

coast. Over all, it was one of the best rips I have ever taken; even the air

travel worked out perfectly with no holdups anywhere. It did rain some, but

nothing like we get here this time of year, and I just wore my raincoat and

kept moving. I know the French are not too happy with Americans right now,

but I didn't run into any problems, probably because I was with a French

Woman. I bought a charming new Nativity for my collection. The people are all

dressed in Brittany clothes. I will tell you more and show you some pictures

if we ever can get together again. My one regret was that Ken was not there

to share this trip. he would have loved it.

Gee Barb

, your trip sounds like a dream come true. It's good that you got to spend

the time with your sister in law and travel in France first hand with

someone who could show you it . The only regret I have , is that I wasn't

with you :o). Can't wait to see the pictures. Hope you took lots.
