This hairtrigger speedster has 4 gears no MSAer should even try to manipuplate. Son extended arm toggle with pipe which allowed me to walk beside him scanning every bump and anthill as well as all of Jan's 6'4'frame. BIG improvement! Chair won't back up and hallways are out. Wonderful for faints during long waits and hauling heavy baggage. When leg contractures made foot extensions obsolete we custom built pads with cushion and velcro. If you buy a van make sure oversized person and chair will allow tiedown and patient access in transit. Ford Econoline a bad buy for us. Are you aware of ANY care facility for demented quadriplegics able only to move eyelids? Love, sympathy , concern from LA Louise in Springhill who has been where you are now and tried LOTS of things.
