Sandy B. Perhaps one of the medicare agencies would come to your house to

give Tom a flu shot. We use bayada agency for a nurse's aide, and they

directed me to one of the medicare agencies, which as a community service,

would come out and give Sam the shot, after they had called the internist

and gotten the ok. Our internist gave us a prescription for a flu shot,

but one group wanted me to provide the vaccine. The internist apparently

knew nothing about this community service. I don't know if there is any

service like that available to you I hope so. A lot of time is spent on

the phone rounding up all these services. Lou Reynoldsi

ct I could get at the pharmacy. It's a powder you mix with water to

>make a dough and put it into the hole left by the missing filling. I will

>have him rinse with peroxide first then apply it.

>Unfortunately there is no way I could get him into the dentist and back to

>the car. He is 6'3 " and over 300 lbs. The firemen have come to the house

>twice when he has landed on the floor and it took 3 of them a difficult time

>to get him back into bed. His legs will just not hold him up anymore. I'm

>also trying to find someone to come to the house to give him a flu shot. His

>doctor could offer no help.

>There are quite a number of challenges with this miserable disease as I am

>sure you experienced with Charlotte. Thanks for all your help and input.
