Hi folks,

Just wondering if three constitutes a group meeting? If so, Maine just had

their first. I was contacted by the local hospice director who informed me

that she knew of a person with SDS/MSA who lived less than ten miles from us.

What is even more amazing is that this person was dx'd rather early on by a

LOCAL physician. I made contact with the patient and his wife and went to

meet them on Wednesday. We had a nice visit and I was able to get them on the

SDS group list.

Could you welcome Kay and Dick to our family?

Thanks,

Jean & Chrissie

Hi Jean & Chrissie:

You asked > just wondering if three constitutes a group meeting? So I went

to my Webster's Dictionary to see what it said about the word group. It said

that it's A collection or assemblage of people, objects or things having

something in common. So by this I would say you just had your first Marine

group meeting. Looking forward to hearing about the other's that you have .

Jean, Chrissie, Kay and Dick,

Congratulations on having your first group meeting! And welcome to the

list, Kay and Dick. We're all sorry you have to be here, but glad you

found us as we are a big family, with all the joy, sadness, support and

conflict that being a family implies.

Jean,

Congratulations on starting the Maine group. The DC group started with

the Moller's and Charlotte and me in 1999. Welcome Kay and Dick.
