Hi, I don't reply often and am on Digest but I think the mix is just fine. I zoom through the personal to get to the nitty-gritty that concerns me. And a support group isn't all nitty+gritty...a lot is love, jokes and light touches. The big thing that concerns me and I need help with this is that I am having for the first time a lot of swelling of tissue in the throat area, along with a major flareup,ie nose is swollen with sore, mouth sore, aches, pain, etc. I am planning to go to Europe on my own on October 9.2001 and need to know about ... what if this gets worse. Am I looking at a tracheotomy, a stent or what? I know no on one out there is a doctor but some of you have faced this. Ideally, what does one ask for in a life threatening situation? What does one hope for in a calm but bad situation? All replies welcome and I fully understand that these answers are personal not medical...but I trust y'all to give good info.Youve been there, Thanks T
