Guest guest
Hi, This is Jo Rahn (Yukon OK)with a new e-mail address finally. I left for awhile because of poor internet service. Recently I have had a very bad episode of GERD. I have taken Prevacid for 7-8 years. I went to a gastroenterologist today and we visited for awhile then he made arrangements for tests next week. (My idea not his) He was not happy that I had the SRVG (VBG) with ulcerative colitis and GERD. The WLS surgeon found a paraesophageal hernia during preop tests that had become necrotic. These things have no symptoms! Well I will get to the point. I was talking with his nurse and she told me if he finds another para*** hernia he will want to redo the WLS to RNY. Has anyone ever heard of this and what questions do I need to be asking? I wrote to my buddy Judy in Austin and she suggested this learned bunch. OK here I am . Any help you can spare would be GREATLY appreciated. Please send the cavalry...LOL Thanks for listening! Jo
