Guest guest
, I find I hate Strawberry Ensure the most. I like the Chocolate Supreme the best, blended with some peanut butter. I've lost a lot of weight (started at 131 before surgery, down to 123 now) and am starting to feel kind of shaky. I don't know how that can be since it seems like I'm constantly " eating " so I'm going to try adding peanut butter and protein/soy powder to everything and hopefully that will help. I was taking the 24 hour sudafed, but it didn't seem to help. The liquid sudafed they gave me in the hospital seemed to help though...perhaps it's time to send my mom back to the store for me. Like you, the bruising is getting worse by the day and my swelling seems to have plateaued which doesn't make me happy. And I totally hear you about the emotional swings too. God bless my mom for being so understanding. How do you sleep? I find myself sleeping only an hour or two at a time. I am so congested in the overnight hours, even though I'm still sleeping all propped up in a recliner? I'll try the cotton swabs with water and peroxide and the sudafed too...getting a good night sleep would help I think. I see my OS tomorrow...if he would at least allow me to remove a couple of the bands a couple times a day so I could get a spoon in there I'd sure appreciate it. Keep on keeping on...and let me know what the OS said/did so I know what to look forward to tomorrow!
