Guest guest
I know we're having our sorrow's when it comes to the MSA. It's not a road any of us wanted to walk, those suffering with it and the caregiver's watching and knowning that's there is only so much we can do. The one thing that keeps me going is this group and the love of God. Oh! someday's it's not so easy, and other day's are just awful. I know there are alot of questions why? Someday we will have our answer, but until then I just have to keep the faith and look for the bright side. That isn't alway easy , but I try. One day I came across this poem " It's in the Valley I grow " when I was feeling very sorry for myself. It helped me then and it has many times since. I think it was a gift from God when I needed to understand. His always seem to be there when I need it the most. IT'S IN THE VALLEYS I GROW Sometimes life seems hard to bear, Full of sorrow, trouble and woe It's then I have to rememberr That it's in the valleys I grow. If I always stayed on the mountain top And never experienced pain, I would never appreciated God's love And would be living in vain. I have so much to learn And my growth is very slow, sometimes I need the mountain tops, But it's in the valley I grow. I don not always understand Why things happen as they do, But I am ver sure of one thing. My Lord will see me through. My little valleys are nothing When I [icture Christ on the cross He went through the valley of death; His victory was Satan's loss. Forgive me Lord, for complaining When I'm feeling so very low. Just give me a gentle reminder That it's in the valleys I grow. Continue to strengthen me, Lord And use my life each day To share your love with other's and help them find their way. Thank you for valleys, Lord For this one thing I know The mountain tops are glorious But it's in the valley I grow! written by Jane Eggleston So here in this valley we are growing.
