Tetracycline storage

I take 2,000 mg of tetracycline daily. I'm aware that antibiotics

don't stand the

heat particularly well, but just how hot is too hot? For much of the

day here in

Chicago this summer, we *do* have the A/C going -- but it's not on

all the time

and occasionally the entire apartment does get into the upper 80s.

Should I be putting the tetracycline in the freezer? The last thing I

want to

have happen is for this stuff to heat-mutate into something toxic.

Leigh, my pharmacist told me that tetrcycline can take the heat better than

the cold, and to NEVER put it in the frig, must less the freezer! I do not

know the upper limits of temperature that it can take so check with a

pharmacist. Kate
