Swelling and numbness at 7 weeks...when does it end?

There are days when I think I'm really getting better and then the

swelling increases, the pain in my ears ache and it feels like I'm

starting all over again. Does everyone's swelling go up and down?

When does it go down and stay there?

The numbness drives me crazy. I expected the chin to be numb for

quite sometime but I didn't expect my cheeks to stay numb up to my

eyes. Is there anything I can do to help?

I'm icing, heating, taking tylenol 3/codeine at night to help with

the ache...
