How long will it take me to recover and get back to my everyday living?

I am new to this site and i think this is the greatest idea for

people to post their thoughts and ideas on this. I just went to the

orthodontist this week and he told me im ready for surgery. I just

made my 2nd appt. to see my doctor about when the surgery can be

scheduled. My question is how long will I be cooped up and be bed

ridden. If he tells me i can get the surgery in Novemeber before my

college semester is up, should i get it then or just wait til i have

a month break in december. thanks and take care yall
