Guest guest
Hello Aussie Ann #2 I'm just sitting here trying to read the posting. I have Fred in bed where his safe I think, but with Fred you never know . He had to two good falls today, both landing on his back. Of course he was trying to do things that he know's he can't. One he was trying to push over a trash can full of water, instead of the trash can going over , Fred did. The other he just lost his balance. His still using his walker, why I don't know. Of course he may not be so safe on his electric wheel chair either. We went to the market again today . Fred on the electric wheel chair and I walk. I know Fred would fall asleep when he drove a car and I really think that is what he is doing when his driving his electric wheel chair. His ok going, it's the coming back that has me worried. Going his on the sidewalk, but coming back his off the sidewalk onto the lawn's and at times heading for street light's and etc. I had to run to get to him to stop him from running into a tree. He was heading right for it. That's why I worry if he did fall asleep, I know he would of hit it if I hadn't of gotten him first. Don't know how he could miss seeing something that big if both eyes were open. I don't know Ann , you may want to just get a wagon for Al and pull him around in it. It maybe safer that way. ) I know it's getting to your week end. I shall watch for your posting for what went on with it. I hope you have your running shoes on. Guest guest
Bill: You mean I'm not the slim slick chick I use to be? ) Fred does well in Wal Mart, it's the hallmark stores with all the pretty's that we have to worry about. I can't believe they can put in so much in a small store, but they do. Fred knocked down the display there just getting into the store. I wasn't there when he did that. Sure don't think that is fair. He always seems to be with me when I do something like drop my whole tray at the soup and salad bar. I had salad all over the place and during the busy part of the day. Of course Fred just kepted going down the lane like he didn't know who I was. ) I wonder why? Take Care or should it be G day? She also moved a whole childrens clothing display wall with the cart - bet Wal-Mart was sorry they bought the motorized carts that day I used a manual chair which was custom fitted for her. It was lightweight and the wheels came off to load it in the car (removable wheels cost about $200 extra and are not covered by Medicare, but are great for the caregiver).
