So sorry to hear of Lorraine's death. I'm sure she is at peace -- anyone who

suffers with any form of MSA is bound to have a high place ready for them in

heaven. With 57 years together, I know you have many wonderful memories.

May those memories and your loved ones and friends give you strength and

peace in the days ahead? Our Love & Prayers, Ned and Judy B.

On Veteran's Day 11-11 , I lost my Lorraine to this horrible disease. At

age 79, we had been married 57 yrs. We have 7 wonderful children who are

helping me through this devestating time. 5 live out of state and when

they all leave, I'm sure it will be so hard. She went peacefully with

one of her great caregivers at her side along with my sister and me. She

had just begun to show signs of difficult breathing the night before

but took her pills; ate a little breakfast, napped; then more meds @

11AM and again signs of difficult breathing while the aid was getting

her dressed for the day. It got worse and finally breathed her last

about 12:15. She had gone from a beautiful woman to just skin and bone

in spite of eating fairly well. May she rest in peace!

I am so sorry to hear about Lorraine. You were lucky to be together for such

a long time and I hope that all of the good years help carry you through

this unbearable time. I will keep you, your family, and Lorraine in my

thoughts, Debbie
