Guest guest
I would like to know if anyone here is trying Oil Of Oregano for their Seb derm/cea? " Oil Of Oregano " is supposed to be a major natural " YEAST KILLER. " Wouldn't that be nice? I have a problem with yeast..and have to go on anti-fungals. I was looking for something natural to take. Anyone have any info on this? Experience maybe? Thank you for any answers in advance. ;-) Sincerely, Annette

Guest guest
Alyssa,I think oil of oregano or grapefruit seed extract are both good options. The chicken broth, epsom salt baths, and plenty of rest will help too. If you are too stuffy, put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on a hanky or tissue and smell it periodically -- it is like breathing vicks or halls throat lozenges only without the calories or stickiness (got that from I think Mara). I think the ooo just takes care of the virus/bacteria and isn't necessarily boosting the immune system like say echinacea does. Get plenty of vitamin C as well.Take care!AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thu, February 25, 2010 11:06:29 AMSubject: Oil of Oregano? I think I have a cold, since my sinuses felt all clogged yesterday and I woke up with a horrid sore throat this morning. I don't really want it to turn into anything, so my question is: do you think I should take oil of oregano to help fight it off? I've never taken it before, and I wasn't sure how it would work with me being on an immunosuppressant. Does it help fight viruses/bacteria by strengthening your immune system (which would be counterproductive, it seems like) or by actually killing the bacteria/virus/ fungus itself? Any other advice on how to get rid of a cold/sore throat is appreciated! Since I'm in school I can't go on full intro foods, but I drink a big mug of broth every day. Any other tips? THanks!
