Guest guest
I would suggest letting your skin rest for two days. That means washing once or twice a day with tepid water and a gentle soap or just water only. Do not exfoliate! I repeat, DO NOT EXFOLIATE. This means no rubbing, scrubbing with a washclothe, hands or towel. Put lotion on after washing. My skin is very sensitive. So, I use Neutregena Swiss formula hand cream mixed with pure aloe vera gel. I just put a pea size amount of each in my palm and mix. It goes in well and doesn't feel greasy. It definately does not sting or burn and make me go red. Just let your flakes build up. Your face may be snowing by day two. Mine was. But on Monday, when I washed my face in tepid water, I did exfoliate my skin with a soft wash cloth. It seemed as if my skin had a chance to heal. Those places that would flake off and leave red raw patches were calmer and my overall skin texture was improved.

Guest guest
I used to buy into the " exfoliation is bad for rosacea " theory. Even after 4 lasers my face was still a mess. I now rinse my face in the shower for a few seconds, get out, wet triple sized cotton balls, and rub my cheeks and forehead with them... never using soap. People comment how much better my face looks now. Flakiness is gone, acne is no longer a biggie, and rosacea is almost a thing of the past. > I would suggest letting your skin rest for two days.
